HomeI like awareness and because I am radiological technologist and working in the hospital and facing a lot of patient, I joined a group of awareness on 2001 for breast cancer and I was happy to aware women about breast cancer and how to protect them self by screening mammogram and at what age the should to do it. you know it was hard in the first workshope done in 2001. but me and my friend Amal Al-Salamah were happy to do that activities.
By the time, the breast cancer awareness was spread onto workshop in Universities, college, public places . Also there were plan to shear it with other city in Saudi Arabia, the first step was AlQassem, It was great workshop and really was nice and grateful. I was happy to aware women their and talk about the breast cancer and how to do screening for early detection.
In 2007, Our dream to have Association is success, and Zahra breast cancer association was borne . I was happy and have plan to help all women in Saudi Arabia and aware them.
I joined group in different activities in different cities in Saudi Arabia, to aware women; I went to abha, Jazan, Jeddah.
I do a lot of workshop and lecture about mammogram screening and how it is important to do it. I get a lot of appreciate certificate and I was exciting for my work. It is a type of giving from your heart and trying to spared message for women to take good care for themselves.
I like my Awareness activities and I have my research about the awareness of Saudi women in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and I am working on it to know how our awareness of screening mammogram was during the period 2001 up to now.
Finally, I will do my best to help and support and aware women about early detection of breast cancer to help them from that disease to attack them.
